(Original message below)
Carrcroft Elementary is requesting any assistance people can provide in the clean-up effort of their Wellness Trail. In years past residents have brought rakes, trash bags, etc. to collect debris, spread mulch and maintain a lovely area for both the school children and our residents.
If you would be interested in helping please meet at the school 10/21 @ 09:00 AM. Thank you!

Saturday April 9 @2pm in front of Carrcroft Elementary!🍬🐣🐇
Halloween 2021 falls on a Sunday this year and our annual Halloween Parade is planned for 10/31 (day-time) at 1pm! We will meet at school and then parade around the block back to the school again, and distribute candy bags to each child. There will be a “photo op” set up as usual for picture memories. We will adhere to CDC guidance about face masks and social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety.
As for Halloween night we again invite neighbors to participate by keeping candy/treats available either at end of driveway or on porch (but please try to be seated nearby with your candy stash so that the candy is supervised). Also, if possible, hand sanitizer readily available near the candy. We suggest lights out by 7:30-8pm to streamline this Covid-19 style of trick or treating.
Rain Date 9/12.
ALL residents are encouraged to participate!
Please join the CCA Board on Tuesday, June 22nd (Rain Date June 29th) to discuss the matters of the neighborhood. Invitations have been sent to our local/state representatives and police liaison.
This event will be held in-person, outside Carrcroft Elementary.
Winter ice storms and wind took a toll on the trees along our neighborhood owned boulevards. Unfortunately, this type of damage is not covered by our landscaping contract. Please join us for a volunteer cleanup event of Carrcroft, Crest, Hillside, and Rowland Park Boulevards on April 10 (rain date April 11). We’ll meet at the school at 9AM. Bring a rake, gloves, and/or pruning shears.
Meet at the school on March 27 at 1pm (rain date March 28) for a socially distanced egg hunt. Masks are required, and hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray will be available.
Bring a basket, bucket, or bag to collect eggs. Eggs will be emptied (parents can help children) and placed in designated baskets, so that we can disinfect them for re-use.
Candy and prizes are for the taking! We can’t wait to see you there!
Ok Carrcroft Neighbors! Halloween 2020 is on a Saturday this year and our children living in Carrcroft deserve a safe and fun Halloween holiday, especially after so much as already been stripped away from them this year.
Carrcroft Civic Association presents our annual Halloween Parade on actual Halloween (day-time) at 1pm! We will meet at school and then parade around the block back to the school again, and distribute candy bags to each child. There will be a “photo op” set up as usual for picture memories.
There will be face masks required, 6 ft or more social distancing (unless in the same family/known group) and hand sanitizer readily available. Candy will be pre-packed also so we can keep everyone safe and prevent “mad dashes” as in previous years!
As for the night of Halloween, we invite neighbors to participate by keeping candy/treats available either at end of driveway or on porch (but please try to be seated out there nearby, socially-distanced) with your candy stash so that the candy is supervised. Also, if possible, hand sanitizer readily available near the candy. We suggest lights out by 7:30-8pm to streamline this Covid-19 style of trick or treating.
Thank you and let’s have a Happy Halloween!
