The annual Spring Forum community meeting was held this week at the Carrcroft Elementary School. The turn out was spectacular. There were literally tens of people present.

Councilman John Cartier (Eighth District) was good enough to join and provide an update to us – particularly interesting was that NCC intends to be more aggressive about vacant and nuisance properties by pursuing owners in court and moving properties to sheriff's sale, if necessary.

Other issues were discussed including the deteriorating road conditions throughout Carrcroft. We can continue to bring these concerns to the state/local representatives, but anyone can (and should) relay active issues to DelDOT Transportation Management Center (operating 24/7/365) at 302-659-4600 or https://deldot.gov/Traffic/ReportRoadCondition/index.shtml.
