On 2024/10/17 CCA Board received the below response from DelDOT regarding proposed traffic changes. This is the latest information we were provided and we will share further details if/when they are available.

”Earlier this year, DelDOT began survey work of the intersection of Marsh Road at Baynard Boulevard to develop potential improvements that will improve safety and traffic flow at this intersection. With the survey work completed, the department is now beginning the preliminary design of concepts that can be shared with the community. Our current timeline is that these concepts will be ready in the of spring 2025, and a public meeting will be held to present the concepts and solicit feedback from the community. Until that design work is completed it will be difficult to answer questions about what the proposed improvements would entail and the impacts it would have on surrounding properties.

The department’s preference is to wait until the design work is completed and a public meeting can be held presenting all the information at one time. After that meeting occurs, a determination will be made based on community feedback as to whether the project moves forward, and with which preferred concept design.”
