Political / Campaign Signage

The Carrcroft Community and its civic association cannot endorse individual candidates for public office.  The entrance and grass median of all of our boulevards are owned and maintained by the community. Any such signs planted in these areas are not done so with approval of the Board.

I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes,
I saw the sign

Snowplowing

Carrcroft is a difficult neighborhood to plow given the variety of wide and narrow streets, hills, and divided boulevards. Our contractor is aware of a few recent complaints regarding damaged grass patches and missed roads. Please continue to notify CCA if there are any issues, and we will contact the company on your behalf. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Welcome Baskets

The CCA Board is looking for volunteers to help assemble and distribute welcome baskets to new residents. These are small baskets including a pasta meal, a few household items and a newsletter, which are delivered to newly sold houses in the neighborhood.

Holly Feldheim has generously dedicated her time to this activity for several years now and would like to pass the responsibility on to a fellow neighbor. Please contact the CCA Board if you are interested. Thank you!

Reports of Theft

On 01/04/2021, there were 2 vehicles removed from the driveway on Brentwood Dr (both vehicles were left unsecured with keys inside) and a theft from motor vehicle on Wynnewood Ave. These incidents occurred during the overnight/early morning hours.  There were also thefts from motor vehicle reported in Lynnfield and Northwood. Remember to secure your vehicles, remove any items inside and never leave a key or key fob inside the vehicle. PLEASE report suspicious activity to police right away by calling either 911 or the non-emergency line 573-2800.

Happy 2021!

Happy New Year! We would like to wish you and your loved ones health and happiness as we move into (what we hope is) a much better year!

The CCA Board would also like to thank those who have paid their 2020 civic dues and kindly request that you send payment for 2021 to our treasurer, Ed Redfield, at your earliest convenience. Overall, our incoming dues were down considerably last year, which has put obvious strain on our ability to provide routine services including mall maintenance and snow plowing.

Thank you & be well,

CCA Board

stay safe, stay healthy

Pardon the long delay in releasing updated Carrcroft News. 2020 has been a bit of a bummer.

Like everyone else, the CCA Board has had to adjust to life in the face of this national health crisis. In the interim our contact has been accomplished remotely, via video conference, as we continue to serve the community we all love. In the best interest of everyone’s safety the CCA made the decision to “pause” community forums until further notice. We are in the midst of finalizing the newsletter and plan to distribute that in the coming weeks. In the meantime we encourage you to please submit your civic dues and thank you for your continued support in maintaining our neighborhood.

Once we are able to resume the full community forums the CCA Board will proceed with the formal election process. As always, every member of Carrcroft is welcome to participate so please consider devoting your time to a worthy cause.
